I’ve finished my project in its entirety. It’s set to release this month. Nothin’ Personal stems from finding a way to be totally secure in self and my singular interests. This project I didn’t have anybody in mind but myself. So it’s Nothin’ Personal to you—yet extremely personal to me.
I push for people to create a community account and they’ve reached out to me with a lot of cool feedback. Maybe to incentivize more accounts to be created, we could make a contest for free EC Fest tickets and/or the Music Farm 90s show. Do a draw of all community members and pick a few winners.
Dang, SXSW sounds rad! Have fun out there, @chubes and congrats on getting the media badge! Thanks for sharing all these bands you saw too, I can’t wait to check them out.

To answer your question TexasToasted, yes, I did see Die Spitz last night. Pretty sick band! My buddy was telling me that they are like the most renowned local band in Austin right now. Hope to catch them again later this week, as well as Greg Freeman. That shit was some dope, genre-less rock music!
Also shoutout to the Gray Market for playing some JGB on the street and serving up a delicious lunch for me yesterday.

Sup! Anyone here catch the show at Hotel Vegas last night? Die Spitz was awesome! Local band, all chicks who play freaking metal. People casually walking up onto the stage and jumping out into the crowd.
Pretty solid first night of music at SXSW, I’d say.

I like to think of Lil Wayne at his peak as someone who checked all of these boxes. That dude was just the coolest guy in hip-hop across the board for a minute. I was obsessed with his whole image when I was in high school
