Live nation has ruined so many festivals. Bonnaroo 2022- they had one entrance. Bodies packed against bolted down gates. So many wooks smushed together we almost became one big wook.

There’s a new local band called Shrouded Fortress, homegrown right here in Charleston. They have almost no listeners and followers, and yet their album Good Afternoon was my most listened to in 2023. Absolutely amazing and I hope others will find out about them.

There are a lot of places to talk about the Dead on the internet, but this one is ours.

My biggest problem is that all these festivals end up with the same lineups. I want to see more independently-booked events pop up. I want to see more creativity and less suits in a room saying “OK WE HAVE 30 BANDS AND 15 FESTIVALS LETS SPACE THEM OUT AS BEST WE CAN”

It’s like they buy the event knowing that they’re going to discard it not long after. They’re eliminating their own competition while successfully whitewashing the music industry and killing independent...

I think it was really a ticket sales thing. Live Nation are such vampires. They will suck all the life out of any good thing and simply discard it without care for the community that was centered around it....
