I’m here for Maxwell’s Silver Jammer. That’s an Andy Greenberg project where he plays all Beatles songs in a jam band format. Freaking awesome!

Pretty cool to be giving $10 off tickets to community members too. Saves us a few bucks even after fees.

From the Theo Von interview you shared – Billy Strings on why he quit drinking. Shows his dedication to his craft, that being so hungover one day that his performance suffered was enough to make him choose to quit drinking. For the sake of the music. Pretty stand-up decision to make. Even if I’m drinking a beer right now.

There’s a hidden Scarlet > Fire after Saint of Circumstance on Dick’s Pick’s Volume 13.

DP13 is a show from May 6 1981 but this Scarlet > Fire is from 11/1/79

Dude hell yeah! The videos are insane and the photos look great. What a freaking awesome party!

The recording quality is really good and you captured John Shield’s birthday celebration, tripping his balls off lol.

I love the video style of being literally right there in the party. So so sick!

I’m also a longtime Sweetwater drinker and I didn’t want to be the one to say it. But it really does seem like they stole the Extra Chill name and slapped it on a can without giving credit.

It’s weird because The Psycodelics, Little Stranger, and Kanika Moore are all playing 420 Fest in like two weeks and they all have strong ties with Extra Chill. If Sweetwater is pushing that beer at the event, it will be interesting to say the least.

I hope it’s just a simple oversight but it also seems like somebody who works at Sweetwater would have heard about Extra Chill by now considering how long it has been around.

Definitely not a great look for them in terms of the Charleston market and overall music industry reputation.

I was wondering the same. I know the Pour House carries Sweetwater beer and so do a lot of other places in Charleston. Seems like Extra Chill would have posted about this if it was official. It would have been a pretty big deal.

I’ll still be there grooving every Wednesday night. I wish it was still free, but what can you do? The Reckoning are one of the best Grateful Dead cover bands I’ve ever seen!

Sometimes, I would hate to be the band playing after them on the main stage.

Dave Matthews Band plays “Eyes of the World” just a couple days after Jerry died.
