in reply to: Sweetwater Extra Chill 420
Wait… are you saying… that Sweetwater Brewing might have stolen your name?
in reply to: Alanis Morissette vs. Sheryl CrowHere’s a preview of the Alanis Morissette vs. Sheryl Crow band that’s playing at the Music Farm this Friday night:
Anyone in Charleston for the Cooper River Bridge Run is highly advised to come check out this show.
in reply to: Cosmo Pyke, UKWow Cosmo Pyke really is awesome, thank you so much for sharing! I can’t wait to read your full SXSW review.
in reply to: Reddit Going Public SucksGood for you for making some quick cash on it! I put a couple hundred down and I’m just going to let it sit there. I’m too broke to invest any more than that unfortunately.
in reply to: Sweetwater Extra Chill 420Hey y’all, this was not an official collaboration and we did not know about it until today. We are equally confused and I have reached out to Sweetwater directly in hopes of resolving the issue.
in reply to: Sweetwater Extra Chill 420I was wondering the same. I know the Pour House carries Sweetwater beer and so do a lot of other places in Charleston. Seems like Extra Chill would have posted about this if it was official. It would have been a pretty big deal.
in forum: The Back BarI saw today that Sweetwater released a beer called the Sweetwater Extra Chill 420, but I didn’t see anything about it on your socials or your website. I thought y’all had made a beer with Fatty’s Beer Works in Charleston?
What’s up with the Sweetwater beer? Do y’all have anything to do with that?
Here’s an article I saw about it: https://www.craftbrewingbusiness.com/news/sweetwater-expands-flagship-420-line-in-new-variety-pack/
in reply to: Dave Matthews BandStrap in for good vibes. Dave & Friends (Trey Anastasio) – 12.17.03
Everyday -> Bathtub Gin -> Fool in the Rain (Led Zep)
Love the way Trey just smiles with every inch of his whole body
in forum: Music DiscussionShare your first song of the day. I’ll start.
JJ Cale – Soulin’
in reply to: General Team CommunicationIf you have friends who work in F&B, tell them they can have a free ticket to the show on Friday night at the Music Farm if they tell people about it at work. Keep track of their names. If it’s going to be more than 5 let me know and I’ll make sure we can go over.
If anybody would like to partake in street marketing for the event, let me know. Gardner and I are going to be on foot all week.
in reply to: Kendrick Lamar ‘Diss’I was never a fan of Drake. Would probably be a good move for him to ignore it. ‘Like That’ absolutely slaps.
in reply to: Craziest Place You’ve Smoked Weed in CharlestonTree bench @ Fort Moultrie//Sullivans
Outside Citadel Mall (so we could ride the escalators)
Mostly just at home though, I try to stay out of trouble.
in reply to: Kendrick Lamar ‘Diss’Nobody can top Kendrick lyrically. I’d love to see him battle it out with Wayne.
Kendrick rips it here. I think he’s got a lot of integrity, if he’s initiating a beef he’s definitely feeling confident about it.
Future’s verse at the beginning is pretty rough.. he sounds way too high..
in reply to: P Diddy ConspiraciesYeah, we’ll never hear the real truth. It’s planned that way, because P Diddy is just the tip of the iceberg in the music industry.
I always knew that he was a scum bag though.
in reply to: Alanis Morissette vs. Sheryl CrowYeah, I’m really excited for this show too. I have some friends coming to town for the Bridge Run and I’m bringing all of them to the Music Farm the night before. It wouldn’t be Charleston without running the bridge hungover.
