in reply to: Andrew J.D. – ? (Psychedelic Rapper)
I have a very unique approach to rap. I am still working on my 4th album and will be for several more years — I have made over 3,000 freestyles and 1,000 beats between the years of 2013-2020 but am condensing the material made from 2013-2016 into my magnum opus. It should hopefully take the world by storm, but until then, here’s something cool to check-out from when I was first finding my footing that has a lot of passion:
The name is Andrew J.D. Psychedelic Rapper.
I am probably destined to be an outsider artist because I have a staunch desire to stay as non-profit as possible, as non-involved with press/promo/imagery/interviews as possible while still eventually going onto tour as much as possible. Right now I’m in the middle of my 4th album of which is a magnum opus undertaking which condenses literally thousands of freestyles and beats into one refined work. in reply to: Best 2000s Pop-Punk/Emo MusicI don’t know, I think you are being too soft. The best is the loud stuff to me. How about Senses Fail? Most of this record stands in the top of this genre. It is the perfect balance between screaming and pop-rock vocals.
in reply to: Sweetwater Extra Chill 420Damn! how sick would it be if that was actually your beer though?!?
in reply to: Billy Strings FansUnfortunately I can’t afford to be taking any out of town trips right now. I really want to see Billy again, he is sick AF
in reply to: Billy Strings FansWhen is it? Maybe @chubes and I would come.
in reply to: Sweetwater Extra Chill 420This is unfortunate, however, it seems less like they were purposely ripping you off and more like the person who made the decision to name the beer Extra Chill knows nothing about the SC music scene and has never heard of Extra Chill. Y’all are growing, but you are not something like Rolling Stone where you would be recognized by beer makers in Atlanta or corporate stiffs at Tilray HQ.

Just because some artists playing 420 festival are your friends and you book shows at bars that carry Sweetwater products does not mean that they know who you are. I say this as an old man with a lot of experience.
That said, doing the right thing still implies an acknowledgement of Extra Chill in Charleston in some way.
