Share your first song of the day. I’ll start.
JJ Cale – Soulin’
The Commodores – “Easy”
I really love this song. It’s one of the chillest of all time.
If you wanted a little analysis of the track, I wrote an essay that breaks down the lyrics on the main blog a while back.
Rock & roll for your morning.
Courtney Barnett – “Pedestrian At Best” – probably my favorite single song performance of the day at High Water yesterday… she rules

I have a few different playlists that I hit first thing when I get to work… but this is one that gets played a lot. I skip some of the songs sometimes, but it’s overall upbeat and sort of positive vibe helps me to get moving when faced with the Monday blues…
Phoebe Bridgers – “Scott Street”
This is one of my favorite songs ever.
My first song today was @kaitheczar’s newest video for “DRIFTWOOD” which I first heard over in our independent artists forum. Kaizër (alt + u for the ¨) is a rising Charleston-based hip-hop artist known for his rapid flow. He has been grinding out a following in Charleston’s music scene for the past few years and people are starting to recognize his talent. He released a deluxe edition of his latest album I Exist on January 29th, and “Driftwood” is one of the new songs for the Deluxe edition.
@chubes thank you so much for the love Chubes !
First song today was Bad Eyes by Grumpy Bug. I’ve been on a big Grumpy Bug kick since I saw them at RIP CITY last month, so good!
Hey first post here, hi
First song today was Wakin on a Pretty Day by Kurt Vile. It’s the perfect early hours relaxation tune. If I had a nickel for every time I put this song on first thing in the morning… that would be a weird way to make money (-Mitch Hedberg)
Yo, my first song of the day is WDA (When Dreams Attack) written by Jae Lucas & produced by KJ-Wol. This is one of the many different types of songs and beats I’ve watched this dude handcraft and it’s easily one of my favorites from his debut project– Stay Solid! Go check out the full project, linked below!
Highway Hypnosis
@mindwater I love that song. I also love his cover of Charlie Rich’s “Rollin With The Flow”
@chubes Yes! Rollin with the Flow is superb. I recently stumbled upon a free copy the Charlie Rich record and the original tune is sweet too
If there was one artist I could pick as a #1 favorite, it would probably be Can. This version of Paperhouse is a good one
A great song to make pancakes to 👍
