This is gonna be a blast
in forum: Music DiscussionEverybody knows jam bands for their live albums, but non jambands release great live albums too. I have always been a fan of live albums in general.
Here are a few off the top of my head that I really enjoy. There are always more that I discover and I will come back here and update this periodically.
What are your favorite live albums? Do you dig any of these?
Modest Mouse – Baron Von Bullshit Rides Again (2004)
Nirvana – MTV Unpluggged in New York (1994)

in reply to: GooseGoose side project Orebelo just released “Rockdale” and announced their debut album out June 7th
I like this, the acoustic vibe is chill. I’m not really as into Goose as I once was after seeing their set at Peach last summer. I’m not opposed to getting back into them but for some reason they just don’t seem genuine to me anymore. It feels a little bit manufactured
in reply to: New Music 2024Orebolo is an acoustic side project by Rick Mitarotonda, Jeff Arevalo, Peter Anspach of Goose. They just announced their debut album, The Chateau, due out June 7th. The first single is “Rockdale” which is a song that Goose plays all the time. Actually one of my favorite Goose songs even though the one they played at Peach didn’t really do it for me last summer. This is a good song and it’s cool that they’re putting an album out.
Here’s the tracklist from the album

in reply to: Happy LandingThey were great at Boogieman last year. Was my first experience with them, and a standout among a lineup of really great performers.
in reply to: Primus @ CHS Music HallSorry to have missed this one. A long time favorite of mine. I bet it was a real blast. Claypool is in a class of his own.
in reply to: Sierra Ferrell FansFull set at Nelsonville Music Festival 2023, a small town music festival in Southeastern Ohio. She is just on another level vocally… effortlessly cool
in reply to: chris, fix the things@MarleyFacedBoy that happens when I edit something I think…. looking into it. thanks for the heads up
in reply to: Dave Matthews BandYeah, I’m fully in it but thinking I’ll be getting out of it soon since I’ve been rooting around their studio & live catalog since October. Dave fucks, I really like his songwriting and slow songs
in reply to: chris, fix the thingsNot sure why but ya boi gets triple notifications for a single mention

We will never forget the incredible experiences you’ve shared with us, and we look forward to seeing you one last time.
Thank you, Charleston, for this extraordinary ride.

in reply to: Primus @ CHS Music HallI was there, the show was sick. Les Claypool is on another level on the bass. And the songs are just so weird! Love love primus, even though they suck.
Here’s a video shot from the front row of the song “Wynona’s big brown beaver”
in reply to: Jxshamar – Charleston, SC (Hip-Hop)Sick! What songs do you want to make videos for?
Do you record everything yourself? Would love to know more.
in reply to: Reddit Going Public SucksUp pretty good today! I’m glad I decided to put some money into Reddit stock, at least currently.
