Fancy Gap from Raleigh, NC have a new single out called “Strawberry Moon” featuring Sharon Van Etten, with an animated video from our friend Persona La Ave.

Eggy – “A Moment’s Notice”

Released May 3rd. Interesting vibe from a heady jam band, who delve into more of an indie-synth-soul song with this one.

Regardless I think Eggy is one of the best Jam bands out there right now.

Funny, my favorite of this new batch has been “Kama Sumatra” which is the one that their fanbase pushed back against. I like Kevin’s verse when they slow things down and Frasco’s little spoken word section. Not the biggest fan of the beat but the song is interesting… lol

Hello all:  My name is A. O. Wilder, and I recently released my first song on Spotify entitled “On the Run”. It’s a groovy jam that takes its cue from southern rock and LA folk. Give it a listen!

Orebolo is an acoustic side project by Rick Mitarotonda, Jeff Arevalo, Peter Anspach of Goose. They just announced their debut album, The Chateau, due out June 7th. The first single is “Rockdale” which is a song that Goose plays all the time. Actually one of my favorite Goose songs even though the one they played at Peach didn’t really do it for me last summer. This is a good song and it’s cool that they’re putting an album out.

They said there is more on the way. If I remember correctly, they’ve been cooking up a new album, which will be the follow-up to Champagne from 2018. That album has a lot of music scene nostalgia for me personally and I’m sure many others around here.

New track from Colatura, an NYC band that I saw in the middle of the day at SXSW, at Lazarus Brewing. The set was at like 1pm and they still managed to impress the relatively small early crowd.

Dolo Boi is an Orangeburg native with style, lyricism, and a voice that just melts on every track. Check him out!

Maggie Rose opened for Dispatch tonight at the Windjammer and she was excellent. She was promoting her latest album No One Gets Out Alive and the single “Fake Flowers.” She also came out on stage twice with Dispatch, for covers of “Don’t Let Me Down” by the Beatles and “Crazy Train” by Ozzy.

On August 24th, Oscillate will be moving the After Hours series into The Peacock on East Bay for their 11th show. We welcome ANHAIA, a project created by Brazilian DJ/producer “Jesiel Anhaia Junior”. His sound walks the line between tech house and minimal deep tech, full of soulful grooves which will keep the dance floor moving from start to finish! DJ DollaMenu has finally released the “Doom Dolla” (MF Doom Tribute Album) exclusively on YouTube. He took 6 ‘Doom’ classics and and flipped them into ‘Dolla’ classics. With a view videos and snippets of the tracks lingering in the ethos since early this year, it’s exciting to finally hear the full work. A mindful and bar-heavy tribute from one of Charleston’s most prominent staples in the local hip hop scene.

Up and coming Charleston rapper, Keon, just released a new single, “Wrist Bandit” produced by StormBeatz. I love the fact that Keon stays true to himself and keeps fun at the focal point of his style with witty word play, relateable concepts, and FLUID, high tempo flow that captures his energy. Don’t get it twisted though, Keon can also dig deep and ‘talk to ya’-like he does in previously released tracks “Letter to Iran” and “Hittin Me”.
