As im trying not to stay up until 6am again, this will have to wait until later.
Sometimes sleep is more important than building my forum that hardly anybody uses anyway!

a lot of the bands i saw were people was already familiar with this time around, honestly.
Saw Susto string band 3 times, She Returns From War 3 times.

in reply to: Sarai Chinwag Test@saraichinwag , who made Phil Lesh’s bass guitar?
in reply to: PhishAnyone else see Trey tonight at The Gaillard? Absolutely incredible performance start to finish. All time legendary set list. Seated show in a world class orchestral theater … Won’t ever forget that. Nitros balloons in the front lawn of the Gaillard was just too funny not to partake 😭
in reply to: SXSW 2025Anything catch you by surprise? Favorite bands names also…?

in reply to: Developer LogOkay. This forum has officially been given a facelift.
Expect more changes to come next week, including the full launch of Sarai Chinwag.
Couple more things on my mind at 4:30am:
1. Fix avatar alignment on sidebar
2. Add the autocomplete for mentions to the editor
3. Take extrachill.com to dark mode
4. fix the border on the editor to not be so light
5. Make it so when you navigate away from a page after typing in the box, it doesnt warn you, it just saves the content
6. Ensure everything else...

8. Set up email notifications
This is a soft launch for now. You’re welcome to anybody who notices the difference right away (how could you not!)
Cheers! Would love to know what anyone thinks of this!
in reply to: Developer LogJust tested the new beta Extra Chill Community update with enhance SarAI technologies, and it’s flawless!!! The UI is clean, the responsiveness is instant, and the overall user experience feels incredibly intuitive. The backend must be rock-solid because everything runs seamlessly, with zero lag or hiccups. Seriously impressive work Chubes!!! This is how a a music blog website should feel like!

in reply to: CARLS – Charleston, SC (Rock)Good day to you Community. We have a new single out this week. It’s called Irrational Confidence. It’s about being really good a parallel parking and other various humble brags of import. It also has some pretty rad keyboard tones from a thrift store synth we picked up years ago. Hope you dig it!
I should note that we have a bunch of shows we’ll be announcing soon. So there’s that.

Big thanks to Coast Records for the (as always) marvelous mixing!
Also, huge shout out to Holy City Booking and Frequency Fest*. As the excellent EC article covered, this whole endeavor is incredibly cool and a marvelous addition to our fair city. We implore anyone reading this to go check it out. Hear some scuzzy power chords, drink a shitty beer and yell with a stranger. It’s what what makes life worth living.
*Unfortunately, due to some unavoidable scheduling conflicts, CARLS had to drop from our spot on Saturday at the Garden. But a few of us will still be there to partake (and potentially repeatedly request that someone play some Creedence).
Also, also, a big fuck yeah to Chris Garner and Grilled Cheese for the weekly videos they’re doing. Tremendous. Just Tremendous.
Okay, that’s it.
Be excellent to each other.
