in reply to: Erode The Dream – Charleston, SC (Rock/Grunge/Heavy)
We are releasing our new single “Salt” on all streaming platforms on October 1st 2024. This is the lead single off our EP “Neon Nightmares” that will be released physically later this year. We also have a lyric video that we filmed ourselves for the song.

in reply to: Introductions ThreadYo guys! My name is Phill, I just moved here from the Philly area and I’m looking to work with some local hip hop artists on these beats I’ve been cooking. I got a bunch of beats up on my soundcloud for free download if you guys wanna try and write some stuff to it. I don’t do this shit for the money, I just love cooking and getting involved with likeminded individuals. I’m gonna plug my sc and insta but 100% holler at me cause I really don’t know nobody here lol. Also let me know if theres any good hip hop shows coming up! PEACE!

in reply to: New Music 2024DJ DollaMenu has finally released the “Doom Dolla” (MF Doom Tribute Album) exclusively on YouTube. He took 6 ‘Doom’ classics and and flipped them into ‘Dolla’ classics. With a view videos and snippets of the tracks lingering in the ethos since early this year, it’s exciting to finally hear the full work. A mindful and bar-heavy tribute from one of Charleston’s most prominent staples in the local hip hop scene.

Just discovered this one via “Camping” on Spotify Discover weekly. Just came out a month ago and seems interesting!
in reply to: SUSTO – Live From Codfish Hollow (2024)Was at both shows. Maybe the best Susto shows I’ve even seen. It was an incredible couple of nights.
If you ever have the opportunity to go to Codfish Hollow (near Maquoketa, Iowa) please go. It is quite the experience and always exceed expectations.

in reply to: Evil At My Heels – A Collection of Poetry@chubes I’ve read 10 of them so far over a couple days (I don’t like to read too many poems at a time) and I’m enjoying em! Really dark stuff, down to earth and gritty. I can feel the struggle in the words. Oh yeah and the code you wrote to display the poems is pretty slick.
I agree with you about being able to revisit old things. Sometimes I get new insights from the old stuff.
And yeah it’s a damn pleasure to be here participating! I love boards like this, and it’s really sweet to...

in reply to: Evil At My Heels – A Collection of Poetry@mindwater thank you! Hope you enjoy them. Appreciate you for being here in this community and engaging with us. You the man!
I’d love to keep getting back into poetry as I get older. It’s such a nice way to decompress and make sense of things in your mind. And then you have something to go back and read as a reminder of where you’ve been and how far you’ve come.
“Setback” sounds great, Casey, nice job. Very pleasant to my ears. I’ll check out your other tracks this week while I’m working and checking out new music. “Keep It Coming” sounded great on first listen too. But now, I get to get up and leave my desk for the day. 🙂 Looking forward to listening to the others tomorrow, however.
in reply to: Die Spitz – Austin, TX (Punk / Metal)@chubes Seen them LIVE…..Dang! Had to be some serious energy in the venue…very cool
in forum: Music DiscussionHello all and thanks for clicking. I just became aware of this forum and figured I’d self-promote! I write/record under the name plaine. plaine is a chamber pop, indie rock, singer-songwriter, electronic type of project in Charleston, South Carolina. I’ve been releasing singles that I’ve written and recorded over the last year and a half. I’ve released 10 songs to date with plenty more that I’ve yet to finish. If you decide to give a listen, thanks! I appreciate it!
