I don’t like it as much as Igor (which is one of those once-in-a-lifetime type projects) but it’s definitely a great project, especially on the production front. And though I don’t always like Tyler’s lyrics (too much dumb vulgarity and placeholder “fucks”) there are a lot of good lines and interesting topics dealt with. For me, last few songs in particular are the real killer ones.

The good vibe and the music scene brought me to town – initially I was involved as an intern at Rialto Row (iykyk) and have been kicking around Chico Feo and the Soapbox down on Folly for years. I’m a singer/songwriter, but am a drummer first, and have been playing my whole life. Been working in the studio a lot recently. Nordista Freeze definitely counts as underground! His performances are unlike anything else, and it’s always an unpredictable experience. I saw him at Extra Chill Fest and Bonnaroo, and every show felt like its own adventure. His evolution from psych-rock to a more experimental sound shows his growth as an artist, and I love how he embraces that artist persona during his performances.
