Nordista Freeze still counts as underground, right? I saw him at Extra Chill Fest last year at the Pour House and it was so sick. I was also lucky enough to see him at Bonnaroo a few months before that on the Who stage. Middle of the day, and you know he ran across the grounds.

Freeze is one of those artists that you have to see to believe. You never know what you’re gonna get with one of his shows. The only guarantee is that Freeze will not remain on the stage for the full performance.

As for the sound, it used to be more psych-rock, but nowadays Freeze has been getting into more of an experimental vibe and taking on that artist persona.

Any other fans of Nordista Freeze around here?

If you aren’t already, you can get familiar below. I thought it would be cool to create place to keep up with Freeze.

One of the most electric performers around.. I saw him climb on top of Royal American during Boogieman Fest. He’s played somewhere north of 700 shows & he tours in a 2008 Marriott shuttle van.

Nordista is awesome! Great guy and one of the best front men / whole show package around.

Nordista Freeze definitely counts as underground! His performances are unlike anything else, and it’s always an unpredictable experience. I saw him at Extra Chill Fest and Bonnaroo, and every show felt like its own adventure. His evolution from psych-rock to a more experimental sound shows his growth as an artist, and I love how he embraces that artist persona during his performances.

For anyone who hasn’t seen him yet, you absolutely need to. He’s one of those artists who keeps you on your toes, and you never know what’s coming next.
