Genuinely amazed by this guy. The songwriting is so gripping and his vocals are nothing short of breathtaking. Everyone killed it on their instruments. That part at 3:25 absolutely captures me- it’s a thrilling listen. Bravo KELLY!
…and of course shoutout Wolfgang Zimmerman too for The Space.

All of this will be re-thunk and fixed tomorrow. It’s about time to call it a night….
The Extra Chill Articles forum has been giving me a run for my money today but im happy its close to working properly now. Just another layer to this project… the chips continue to fall into place.

in reply to: Grateful Dead Songs Played by Other ArtistsYeah, that Eggy fux.
That Wolf Bros is cheating…but I’ll allow it. We missed Ty Chi doing it with his band Roo ’23. Sadface
in reply to: What Are You Listening To Right Now?My absolute favorite Audiotree Live performance. The passion from Nick Rattigan makes the performance.
in reply to: Grateful Dead Songs Played by Other ArtistsGot another one… I think it counts. Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros with Tyler Childers on vocals is really cool. Childers is one of those vocalists that I’d like to hear sing just about anything.

I won’t allow that! That “Loser” was awesome btw.
How about Eggy doing “Jack Straw” at Charleston Pour House?
in reply to: Grateful Dead Songs Played by Other ArtistsFell in love with this one recently. She took an otherwise forgettable track off of American Beauty and made it something special

in forum: Music DiscussionReal Estate celebrated their new album Daniel last night in Brooklyn with a show that only allowed people named Daniel to enter. Pretty funny idea @qrisg will get a kick out of because he’s been talking about doing a party for Chris’s.
Anyway, I used to be a huge fan of this band. Saw them on New Year’s Eve in Brooklyn I think 2018-2019 or 2017-2018 with my best friends from high school and we had an epic night. However, I can’t say that I love this album.
I don’t hate it either....

I don’t hate it either. It’s pleasant enough. But, from a band that basically kicked off this genre of mellow indie rock as we know it today, you would hope they would change up their sound a little bit as they age. It’s basically been the same for 6 albums now, with improvements in production coming along the way.
That’s my first impression and I would still catch them live if I had the chance because that reverb is really sick in the live setting…
Edit – the last song though “You Are Here” is pretty sick, the outro jam is very wavy. Maybe this album will grow on me…
in forum: Music DiscussionNew Babe Club out today. Looking forward to what comes next and excited to have this duo performing Alanis Morissette / Sheryl Crow covers on April 5th at the Music Farm. Check it!
