I love finding these treasure troves of information from Deadheads on the internet. I think it’s pretty awesome how deeply rooted the Dead are in the early days of the web, even down to the guys at Stanford who were literally building the early internet that used it to share Dead setlists.

Here are some that I know about and frequent, in no particular order:

The Annotated Grateful Dead Lyrics – by David Dodd. Fascinating discussion about Grateful Dead lyrics. Used as a resource for every one of my Dead song meaning posts on the main blog

headyversion.com – community sourced best versions of dead songs. love this place

and archive.org comments, accessed via Headyversion. Meaning, when I find a show you like, navigate to the archive via the link provided… and read the comments

Jerry’s Broken Down Palaces – venues that Jerry played at, some cool stuff on there

whitegum – it’s like an old html deadhead encyclopedia

    deadlists.com – Grateful Dead setlsits

deaddisc.com – Grateful Dead family discography

    rukind.com – Grateful Dead forum

voodoonola (YouTube) – regularly shares Dead soundboards, tapes, videos, etc from all decades. lots of interesting comments

Chime in and I’ll come back when I think of others! I know there are a few good blogs that I’m leaving off that I can’t think of right now, which is why I made this thread in the first place.

dead essays – just another blog with lots of Grateful Dead knowledge, formatting is a bit dated but there is some great stuff buried in those archives
