A bit late to this one, but Cameron Winters “Heavy Metal” that came out on December 6th. I missed my chance to see Geese by like 10 minutes when I went to the King Gizzard show because I ended up being late but from what I know of that band, I really was suprised of the sound of this album. Its filled with experimental, emotional folk ballads, and has all of these blues and country undertones that are very captivating—especially “Drinking Age”. Definitely worth a listen.

My thing with music festivals like this sometimes is that there isn’t a lineup I can commit to or want to see for the price of tickets but this one, this one has enough artists I REALLY would love to see and it’s also stacked every. day. They really knocked it out of the park.

Bonnaroo in particular has always done a good job with this I think.

I’m still thinking of getting a ticket but I haven’t decided. Would definitely be worth it and a very jam-packed schedule trying to see all the artists I want to see though.

Happy to have just stumbled upon this… this album kind of feels like a modern Keep it Like a Secret in some way, especially Colorado. His vocal style and enunciation alongside that guitar tone feels so nostalgic.
