Just discovered this one via “Camping” on Spotify Discover weekly. Just came out a month ago and seems interesting!

He took 6 ‘Doom’ classics and and flipped them into ‘Dolla’ classics. With a view videos and snippets of the tracks lingering in the ethos since early this year, it’s exciting to finally hear the full work. A mindful and bar-heavy tribute from one of Charleston’s most prominent staples in the local hip hop scene.
2| October 11, 2024 at 2:29 pmIndigxldParticipantRank: CoolerPoints: 1711Up and coming Charleston rapper, Keon, just released a new single, “Wrist Bandit” produced by StormBeatz. I love the fact that Keon stays true to himself and keeps fun at the focal point of his style with witty word play, relateable concepts, and FLUID, high tempo flow that captures his energy. Don’t get it twisted though, Keon can also dig deep and ‘talk to ya’-like he does in previously released tracks “Letter to Iran” and “Hittin Me”. Tap in, put your wrists up, and stream “Wrist Bandit” by Keon aka Mr. Toyota.

2| October 12, 2024 at 5:39 pmIndigxldParticipantRank: CoolerPoints: 1711The Microphone Madone aka Tiggy aka TJ Pettiglio, celebrated for his classic breakbeat style, is back with “Charleston Sun Heater.” This track features production and a rare guest verse from Ben Beam, the brain and brawn behind Charleston Underground. Tiggy’s contemporary, swing beat delivery complements Ben Beam’s smooth, unmodulated flow. Together, they showcase clever rhyme schemes and playful wordplay, merging their unique styles over a classic Ben Beam production. Don’t miss their newly released single “Charleston Sun Heater,” available now on all streaming platforms.

1| October 18, 2024 at 3:31 pmCARLSParticipantRank: PuddlePoints: 43Greetings EC Community,
New whathaveyou from CARLS is available now – Hot Night on Bergen Street. It’s an homage to a couple of weirdo frolickers having a good time in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn (my old stomping grounds). Musically it’s kind of an amped up T.Rex vibe.
We’ll be playing that and a bunch of other radness this Saturday, 10/19 at LoFi at 9PM.
Also, there’s going to be a climactic balloon drop. Who doesn’t love a climactic balloon drop?
Come out and get whimsical with us!
Cheers,
CARL!
