Hey y’all, this is A. O. Wilder. My 2nd single released on Spotify last weekend. It’s another slice of country rock. Give it a listen!
2| June 14, 2024 at 5:19 pmchubesHMFICLocal Scene: Austin, TXRank: FlurryPoints: 20817New track from Human Resources, their first one since last year. This comes in advance of their upcoming set at Rose Moon Festival at LO-Fi Brewing next Saturday, June 22nd. Indie pop.
Self-produced by the band and mixed by drummer @coastrecords
They said there is more on the way. If I remember correctly, they’ve been cooking up a new album, which will be the follow-up to Champagne from 2018. That album has a lot of music scene nostalgia for me personally and I’m sure many others around here.

Love Wilco. I always check out everything they do. Seen them twice now but really need to pump those numbers up
Upon first playthrough, I am enjoying this record so far. I will save my thoughts for a possible post in the music reviews section after I listen a few more times.

Kat Hammond – “Thank U 4 Trying”
I can hear an Alanis Morissette influence on this, Kat is awesome.

MIDS – “Jonesin'” and “Song For Lars”
A heavy rock & roll band featuring Dylan Dickerson on vocals, Jon Warf & Roger Caughman on guitars, Michael Crawford on drums and Cam Powell on bass. All members of well-known SC acts like Dear Blanca, Stagbriar, Numbtongue and more.

1| July 21, 2024 at 11:46 pmchubesHMFICLocal Scene: Austin, TXRank: FlurryPoints: 20817Maggie Rose opened for Dispatch tonight at the Windjammer and she was excellent. She was promoting her latest album No One Gets Out Alive and the single “Fake Flowers.” She also came out on stage twice with Dispatch, for covers of “Don’t Let Me Down” by the Beatles and “Crazy Train” by Ozzy.
I’ll have a full review of that show up soon in the live music reviews section of the main blog.
For now, check out the single
P.S. – Tour manager was wearing a dead hat. Sold me a koozie and commented on my dead shirt. Good band good vibes
