in forum: Music DiscussionWhat’s good everybody. My name is Ben Beam & I’m a Producer / MC / Audio Engineer born & raised down here in Charleston, SC. I’m heavily involved in our local hip-hop scene, between throwing consistent shows under my Charleston Underground brand & producing tracks / projects for locals artists. Wanted to make this post to share a track I just dropped today, featuring local legend DJ DollaMenu. I produced the track & have a verse on it as well, but thanks to DollaMenu’s feature it’s...

in reply to: Phish@MarleyFacedBoy dude yeah i haven’t had a chance to get through the whole new album yet (Phish new album Evolve, out today), but I just listened to that “Lonely Trip” a few times. Sounds awesome.
I think a lot of Phish fans just want their face melted the whole show lol. Lonely Trip is a great song.

RE: n3 Charleston 2019
Honestly I don’t even remember hearing that. I will have to go back and check out that show again. That was so early in my Phish loving career that I didn’t really know what I was hearing. I do know that of all the Phish shows I’ve seen, that one is the weakest. Followed by MSG 12/28/22, which I wouldn’t call exceptionally weak, but compared to the madness of the following night…
Maybe I will review the new Phish album in the Music Reviews section next week. (UPDATE: here is my review of Evolve)

in reply to: Anyone else come full circle on Noah Kahan?Noah Kahan has a nonprofit called the Busyhead Project that promotes mental health awareness and resources.
It was recently reported that he raised 2.4 million dollars, and counting, for mental health organizations in rural areas via a portion of all of his ticket sales.
Maybe you took his comments the wrong way at High Water? Maybe he was nervous and said some shit he didn’t mean?
