    Whitehall – “Learning to Dance”
    Published: October 14, 2019

This past weekend, Charleston indie rock band Whitehall released a new single called “Learning to Dance”. This is the first new music release from Whitehall since their full-length Ocean Fiction dropped last year, and it’s also their first release since saxophone player Pat Magwood left the band.

Whitehall without a saxophone player is a little bit disappointing. It’s not that they don’t sound good without the sax, but the sax did make their sound much more unique, and now that it’s gone you really notice its absence. It’s a little bit like Houndmouth, who started out with a badass female vocalist and then lost her. It’s just not the same without that missing piece.

Whitehall is currently in the midst of a tour that’s taking them all over the place, which has been a pretty consistent trend for them over the past year or so since linking up with TKF Management. Full tour poster is at the bottom of this article.

Listen to “Learning to Dance” by Whitehall below.
