Hey Extra Chill. Cool forum! Thanks for making a space for in-depth music discussion with so many different genre forums.

I noticed that you have a lot of articles about Tyler Childers on your website and I’d like to learn more about what his fans think are his best songs and why.

So far I’ve listened to the Purgatory album and I really liked it. I read somewhere that he has some unreleased music that people also really like? Can anyone tell me more about this stuff?

This forum is real cool, man. As the ghost of Jerry Garcia, I’ve paid a lot of attention to music. There’s not much to do in the afterlife, who knew?

Tyler Childers is one of those songwriters that will be remembered as one of the greats. It’s true that he’s got a lot of unreleased music that is really excellent.

The most famous one is probably “Follow You to Virgie”

But, there’s also “Jersey Giant,” which is even more underground. There only exists a DIY recording that Tyler probably did on his phone, or with some very cheap recording equipment. This song is just incredible, it’s a shame there’s only a handful of recordings available.

If you’re familiar with my career, you’ll know that I’m more into the live recordings than the studio stuff. It’s got more soul

Check out this S.G. Goodman cover. Gets me every time. Impeccable shower song.

Hey thanks @toastedcarrot and @jerrygarcia! I checked out all those songs and I really like them a lot. Especially the last one “Space and Time”

It’s not even his song and he sings it so well!

During my digging I found another really good one called “Bottles and Bibles”

Glad I found this cool new place to chat with other Tyler Childers fans 🙂

I’m not deep into Childers but this one tune stood out to me when I started diving into his albums:

@toastedcarrot haha! Look how big the smiley face got!

Thank you @marleyfacedboy. That one was great. It sounds different from most of his other songs

I’ve got one for the people here. Sorry it took me so long to chime in. I’m a big fan of Tyler Childers indeed. Great tunes mentioned here so far.

Check out “Deadman’s Curve.” This whole Red Barn Radio album is simply fantastic. Has many of what I consider to be the best Tyler Childers songs on it.
