When I was young, my brother Tiff cut my finger off with an axe. I got kicked out of the army, and eventually picked up a banjo and met my good buddy Robert Hunter. Together we wrote lots of songs for a band called the Grateful Dead. Chris, the owner of this website, is a big fan of our music.
