Charleston indie rockers, tree limbs, dropped a new single last Friday called “Your Morning”, a soft-spoken guitar pop banger.
Bursting with life, the track kicks off with a flurry of drumming and strumming. This is followed by a brief pause for a chill guitar melody and a few chorus drowned vocals from Elijah Sky Springs (E.S.S.). As they weave in and out, the band creates a groove that gets stuck in your head.
The drums have been kicked up a notch from past drum machines with the addition of Drake Broadwater to the band. This new single showcases the group’s chemistry, as they all entangle before breaking off to each steal a bit of spotlight with infectious bass grooves, quick drum fills, self-reflective lyrics, and a mellow guitar solo.
“Your Morning” is a wonderfully bright indie bop from Charleston’s youngest indie rockers. Start your morning off right and give it a listen.
The band will be performing at Tin Roof with Never Any Ordinary and Newgrounds Death Rugby on January 27th, and at the Music Farm on February 10th alongside Hotel Hugo, Homemade Haircuts, and The Simplicity.
