Tom Mackell – “Dark Star Rising”

This morning, Charleston-based singer-songwriter Tom Mackell released a new single called “Dark Star Rising”. The track comes in advance of Tom’s headlining performance at the Music Farm tomorrow night, Saturday, January 14th, with support from Majic Dust and Chris Wilcox & The Boys.

Co-written by Tony Lucca and produced by Grady Saxman (“Dicked Down in Dallas”), “Dark Star Rising” features a full-band performance and lyrics about rising from the ashes in the aftermath of a failed relationship.

Mackell recognizes not only the faults in the relationship, but also the faults within himself that led to downfall of the relationship. He hopes to find a new horizon during yet another night out on the town.
