My absolute favorite Audiotree Live performance. The passion from Nick Rattigan makes the performance.

Genuinely amazed by this guy. The songwriting is so gripping and his vocals are nothing short of breathtaking. Everyone killed it on their instruments. That part at 3:25 absolutely captures me- it’s a thrilling listen. Bravo KELLY!

…and of course shoutout Wolfgang Zimmerman too for The Space.

Really is sounding dope. Love to see Kelly doing some HD quality shit like this. He needs a record deal, would allow him to fund an album and make a whole record worth of stuff that sounds like this

That was real nice. Have you ever heard of Daniel Norgren? Another chill Canadian

Hey everyone. I stumbled upon this track:

By the description, it looks like it was made by Mono Lloyd. The album appears to be Freak City.

It’s a good listen and was released on Feb. 18 of this year.

Does anyone know anything about this? Thank you.

A couple good ones that I found while exploring the SXSW 2024 lineup

    Laney Tripp – “Cedar Island”

It’s like Jimmy Buffett meets Phoebe Bridgers. I love it.

Daisy Rickman – “Feed the Forest”

Such cool layers and atmospheric effects on this track.

I don’t know anything about it, but I also don’t find it to be a particularly good listen either. It sounds like sloppy punk rock from some guys who need more practice.

of Montreal dropped “Yung Hearts Bleed Free” earlier this month. A track that utilizes the full capacity of synth and eclectic effects. Heavily draped in an 80s French pop blanket even next to their edgy discography. A casual yet psychedelic” call and response” tune.

As I go through my SXSW picks late at night, i recalled this song that I heard live. BODEGA. A band from NYC and their song “Doers” has such a great classic New York sound, lyrically and musically.

Discovered this one a few years back and have it in my semi-regular playlist. Love the line, “She cut a hole in the fence and she ran “… escaping whatever it is that is holding us back.

    Lyrics…

This young woman, hailing from Norway, is an internationally recognized talent. Singer, songwriter, pianist… I really love her clever lyricism. The line in this song.. “You’re as safe as a mountain, but know that I am dynamite”, is so bold and frankly, inspiring. Punching above her weight… and age. This one is a hit song for her… but I would encourage listening to the rest of her discography. Leaning hard into her live performances will leave you really impressed.
