The Minks and She Returns From War to Play The Royal American

We’ve got a Sunday night banger coming up at The Royal American on Sunday, September 1st. The Minks are set to bring in their psychedelic blues rock from Nashville, and they’ll be joined by none other than local favorite She Returns From War. The show is only $5, and it kicks off at 9pm.

The Minks are currently touring in advance of their full-length debut, Light and Sweet, which will be released on September 20th via Cafe Rooster Records. They’ve released two singles off the new record thus far, “J. Walker Blues” and “I’m Okay”, and there’s another one slated for release before the show on September 1st.

She Returns From War is still kickin’ from the full-length release of Mirrored Moon Dance Hall last year, which we chose as the best album that came out of South Carolina in 2018. Rumor has it that Hunter has been working on some new music lately as well, so we might get to hear a few new tunes that night.
