Residing in Columbia, SC, Tatyanna is one of the few underground R&B/soul artist bringing raw, melanated, incense burning sounds that warm your soul. I am a big fan of her vocal style; her voice and range are a nice cross between Marsha Ambrosia and Mya. Tatyanna’s single, “Stop Calling Me” produced by Yogi C Beats, from her album Karma, is a powerful ode to breaking free from the chains of unhealthy love. “Why you always call, when I’m out with my friends and I’m tryna get over you.” A million dollar question right? The song’s video captures the essence of the song, with classic slow-motion club scenes, isolation shots, and images of her reveling in the freedom of letting go.
