Back in August, Charleston Americana heroes Shovels & Rope announced a huge hometown show in The Royal American parking lot. It’s not surprising that this show sold out not long after the tickets went on sale. Shovels & Rope rarely plays shows in Charleston these days unless it’s at High Water Festival, but this month they’re feeling generous enough to give us not one, but two shows at Charleston’s finest musical establishments.
Yes, you read that correctly. Yesterday, Shovels & Rope announced that they will play at The Pour House on Sunday, October 28th, which is the night after their Royal American show. Back-to-back hometown Shovels & Rope shows. That’s a beautiful thing.
I don’t have to tell you that The Pour House show is going to sell out, too. Tickets are $40 and go on sale this Friday, October 12th, at noon. Get yours here.
