Persona La Ave at The Royal American. Photo by Mary Goff (@megoff4) This past Saturday night, Persona La Ave traveled from Brooklyn to his former home of Charleston to perform an incredible set of organic music with his Charleston-based live band, and special guests. Abstract – That Rapper opened the show with the band Soulful Sounds Entertainment, plus special guests.
Persona La Ave’s band included some of Charleston’s most renowned musicians including Ross Bogan (Wolf Mask, Doom Flamingo), Aaron Utterback (Wolf Mask, Human Resources), Paul Nederostek (Dead Swells) and Jonathan Peace (Wolf Mask, Godwin Falcon). They performed a 90 minute set of dialed-in music that flowed completely in-sync between the band and the audience.
