Oukuo – “Welcome to Oukuo”

This morning marks the release of the second single from Oukuo, the solo project of Charleston musician and producer Thomas Kenney, of the bands Doom Flamingo and Terraphonics. “Welcome to Oukuo” follows debut single “The Blue City” which was released back in April. While the first single featured a big booming bass and was ready for dancing, “Welcome to Oukuo” is a bit more low-key and about the vibe. It’s a different side of a project that we’re excited to hear more from, as the creation of a solo project allows Kenney to fully explore his talents and creative force, which as anybody who has seen him perform knows is quite strong.
