On June 24th, One Way Forward Festival brings a diverse and talented lineup of South Carolina artists to the outdoor amphitheater at The Refinery, in the spirit of raising awareness for cannabis legalization in the state.

Hosted by the veteran-owned hemp connoisseurs, Carolina Dream, the festival features nine sets of music including performances by Runaway Gin, Babe Club, The Mobros, Slim S.O.U.L., Mike L!ve, Ben Whitney, Sounds of Blackfox and Leone & the Ascension with DJ Chris Almighty spinning between sets. Artists at large include Mike Quinn (Doom Flamingo), Campbell Brown (Broken Speakers), and the legend Bill Wilson.

In addition to the live music, the event will also feature food vendors — Chef Graham Calabria’s Fine Foods and the Refinery’s own Cleats, and a small market consisting of local vendors such as Swhitey Art, Billy Thrift, Livelihood Fits, & more.

Carolina Dream founder Cody Callerman has been an outspoken advocate for legalization for years, often working with politicians and speaking at various events to raise awareness. His efforts are valuable in the ongoing efforts to legalize the beloved marijuana plant in our state.

Here at Extra Chill, we fully support marijuana legalization legalization. We also fully support each of the artists on this lineup, and the mission of One Way Forward Festival to use music as a vehicle for political change.

Early bird tickets are on sale now, with prices increasing on Monday, June 19th following the Pre-Party this Saturday, June 17th at The Whale with DJ Moldybrain. Tickets and more info here.
