My Morning Jacket – “One Big Holiday” (Live at Bonnaroo 2004)
    Published: November 17, 2021

Two weekends ago I had the pleasure of catching three nights of My Morning Jacket at Chicago’s Auditorium Theatre. I had seen them at Shaky Knees in 2016 prior to this and was completely blown away, so to see them three nights in a row in Chicago with four of my closest friends was truly a blessing.

Needless to say the three-night stand at the Auditorium Theatre was incredible, and naturally after having my face melted off at a concert I would want to listen to the band responsible. Thus I have been listening to a lot of My Morning Jacket lately.

One video that always draws me back in is their performance of the classic “One Big Holiday” at Bonnaroo in 2004. This is both early Bonnaroo and early My Morning Jacket, with the festival being in its third year and the hit having been just released on It Still Moves in 2003.

My Morning Jacket closed the run in Chicago with a stellar performance of “One Big Holiday” on November 6th, in the year 2021. More than 15 years after this Bonnaroo performance and they are still crushing it, with a new self-titled album to prove it (check out “In Color”).

Check out My Morning Jacket performing “One Big Holiday” live at Bonnaroo 2004 below.
