My Morning Jacket With Neil Young – Harvest Moon (Bridge School 2013)

Yet another My Morning Jacket live performance video has found its way onto Extra Chill. Considering this video has less than 3,000 views, I’m going to assume that most of you have never seen it before. It’s My Morning Jacket with Neil Young at Neil’s annual Bridge School Benefit Concert in 2013. All of the proceeds from this concert go towards helping to ensure that people with severe disabilities get all the help they can get. The first one was held in 1987, and this year marks the 30th Annual Bridge School Benefit Concert. There are always a bunch of great acts present, and if you’re looking for some great music for a good cause, you should go.

This version of “Harvest Moon” is awesome because it has a full band sound, and combines the voices of both Neil Young and Jim James, two of my favorite musicians of all time. It’s one of Uncle Neil’s most popular songs, and for good reason. “Harvest Moon” literally defines Extra Chill. You love to see that.
