There’s a special show coming up on Saturday, December 8th at Lo-Fi Brewing. It’s special not only because of who’s playing but also because of the fact that it’s the first major music event that Lo-Fi Brewing has hosted, and because Nashville’s Rayland Baxter is coming to town to headline it. Rayland Baxter is fresh off the release of his newest album, Wide Awake, which is fantastic.
For the first installment of Lo-Fi Sessions, Rayland will play with support from a lineup of local and regional talent that includes Tyler Boone, Finnegan Bell, MYFEVER, and Chris Wilcox. It’s always great to see local musicians on a bill that also includes a more established regional or national artist. It helps the locals reach a larger audience, one that maybe would not have known about them otherwise.
There will be an outdoor stage in the parking lot, similar to the one that you may have seen at Extra Chill Fest or the Summer Shindig. The party will run from 3pm to around 11pm, with music starting at 5pm.
The event was curated by 105.5 The Bridge, and there will also be food trucks and vendors hanging out on-site.
Tickets to Lo-Fi Sessions are $20 in advance, and $25 at the door. A portion of proceeds will benefit the families affected by this year’s hurricanes. Get your pre-sale ticket here.
You’ll be drinking all of Lo-Fi’s in-house brews, including Lo-Fi Lager, Blueberry, Glitter Pony, IPA, and maybe even the Lo-Fi Pale ale, which is slated for official release on December 15th.
