Straight out of West Ashley, Laylow Gee is an up-and-coming South Carolina rapper who rolls with the BGR collective, which includes the ringleader CrucialBGR, OlBoyPari, and more. He dropped a new mixtape earlier this week called Clear Vision 2, the successor to 2020’s 4-track Clear Vision release. The tape features 7 songs filled with beats and bars, with CrucialBGR popping in for a feature on two of them: “Good Fellas” and “No Difference”. Clear Vision 2 is raw hometown hip-hop that offers a solid introduction to another newcomer to keep on your radar, along with the rest of the BGR crew. Laylow Gee brings that down-to-earth style that is central to the style of the entire collective. They make hip-hop music and they like to keep it simple.
