Human Resources – “Orange Tree (Persona La Ave Remix)”

“Orange Tree,” the latest single from Human Resources, got a vaporwave twist this weekend with a remix by Persona La Ave.
The update creates a dreamy atmosphere right off the bat, with lofi fuzziness and retro distortion. The vocals are stretched, warped, and looped as the song opens, but some of the chorus remains discernable, just slower, trippier. A funky bass line is layered over the instrumentation, along with whirring synth.
This remix of “Orange Tree” is a fresh take on a song that was already cool, and it’s different enough to feel like it captures a distinct mood.
