Hotel Hugo – “Radio Silence”

Hotel Hugo, the project of local musician Garrett Williams and friends Dan Fetterolf (Daddy’s Beemer), Drew Lewis, and Tommy Merritt (The Simplicity), released a new song, “Radio Silence,” on July 1st. It’s the group’s second single of the year, following “Paradise,” which dropped in February.

“Radio Silence” is a guitar-driven, percussion-heavy track with rock energy and pop listenability. The lyrics will be heavily relatable to anybody who has had any experience in the modern-day dating scene: “She’s leaving you on read / She’s playing with your head / You’re sick of all the radio silence.”
