Final Show at The Embassy to Feature Pablo Generation Takeover
    Published: July 17, 2018

Another Charleston house show series is coming to an end later this month (Makeout Reef ended in June), but before we talk about who’s going to step up to bat next it’s time for one final show. And this is a good one. On Saturday, July 28th, The Embassy will host a Pablo Generation takeover, featuring Apricot Blush, Daddy’s Beemer, Tom Angst, and Quality Time. These four bands cut their teeth playing at popular Clemson house venue Pablo, and are coming to Charleston to offer The Embassy a helluva send-off party.

I’ve talked about The Pablo Generation countless times, but if you haven’t seen any of these bands live yet then you’ve got the perfect opportunity right here. Apricot Blush just released a new album called Where Blew a Flower, May a Flower No More, and it has been wholeheartedly given the Extra Chill stamp of approval. Daddy’s Beemer released Pucker in February and are getting ready to move to Charlotte (this will be their last show as a South Carolina band). Tom Angst released their self-titled debut last year and are reportedly in the studio working on another EP. Quality Time put out Boston Pizzeria last year and it’s one last reason to not miss this show.

The final Embassy show is all-ages and BYOB. There is a $5 cover at the door. If you need the address, hit us or any of the bands playing the event up on social media and we’ll supply the goods. Find the Facebook event here.

P.S. – both Daddy’s Beemer and Tom Angst will be playing the first-ever Extra Chill Fest on September 8th. Find all the info and tickets to that here.
