Bred in Rock Hill house shows and frequent flyers at DIY venue The Courtroom, Motel Glory are a household name in their city and are coming through Extra Chill Fest to show you why. We’re excited for them to bring their hard-hitting, punk-influenced sound to The Royal American for Day 2 of Extra Chill Fest on Saturday, November 9th.
Motel Glory have become central to the Rock Hill music scene over the years, with all of its members playing key roles in facilitating shows and bringing artists together in Rock Hill. The Courtroom as a music venue wouldn’t exist without Motel Glory bassist Mike Gentry, who books every show at the venue and has helped craft it into one of the most unique DIY music venues in the entire state.
Motel Glory are working their way through the rest of South Carolina with help from Charleston label Real South Records, with whom they released their third full-length album Let ‘Em Live last month. The album features some of Motel Glory’s most Royal American light-swinging tracks yet, and is sure to get you hyped when you see them live at Extra Chill Fest.
