Gardeners are the second of two bands representing the budding Rock Hill music scene at Extra Chill Fest. They’re bringing their flower-fueled brand of indie rock to The Royal American for Day 2 of Extra Chill Fest on Saturday, November 9th.
We’ve said before that Gardeners are one of the most promising young bands in the entire state of South Carolina, and that’s why we’re super excited to have them on the bill for Extra Chill Fest. Their 2018 debut album Along the Heather was one of our favorites to come out of SC last year. With new single “Up a Mountain” recently released, signs are pointing toward new music from Gardeners in the near future.
Gardeners brings an animated and theatrical live performance, complete with glitter on the eyes and flowers on the microphones. The live show is a perfect compliment to their catchy, upbeat rock songs that mix elements of indie rock with punk and garage rock.
If you can’t tell, we love Gardeners, and once you see them at Extra Chill Fest, you probably will, too. Listen to new single “Up a Mountain” and Along the Heather below, and catch them on Day 2 of Extra Chill Fest. RSVP on Facebook here.
