Darby Wilcox & The Peep Show are a folk rock band from Greenville, SC. You might have seen them open for Daddy’s Beemer at The Royal American on August 10th, and if so you already know that Darby Wilcox is a fantastic performer. Her and the band crushed it so much that night that had to bring them back to Royal for Day 1 of Extra Chill Fest 2019 on Friday, November 8th.
In 2018 Darby Wilcox & The Peep Show released their debut album, 11:11 on South Carolina record label Real South Records, who are our official partners for Extra Chill Fest. 11:11 showcases Darby’s clever songwriting, unique voice, and scratches the surface of the technical aptitude of her band. In the live setting, all of these things are much more apparent, which is why you don’t want to miss Darby & The Peep Show at Extra Chill Fest.
If Darby Wilcox was based in Charleston, her and The Peep Show would have been selling out venues like The Royal American a long time ago. Darby’s hometown of Greenville has long been hip to what she’s got going on, as evidenced by the crowd of 500+ that came out to her set at Fall for Greenville this past weekend. It’s only a matter of time before she conquers the rest of South Carolina, and then goes beyond that.
