Eagles – “Lyin’ Eyes” (Live 1977)

Not sure if it’s the Spring weather or what, but lately I’ve just been feelin’ some good old classic rock. With that, I’ve found a new appreciation for the Eagles, despite what Lester Bangs and many others may have said about them being the worst. “Lyin’ Eyes” is a sad song, and the way the whole band sings it in this live version really hits me right in the feels. Glenn Frey looks like the quintessential rock star here, too. It’s a touching performance of a classic song, and I’ve watched it quite a few times this past week. You probably will, too. Enjoy.
