Charlie “Dim Jim” Gil was a Texas-born singer and rock ‘n’ roll zealot who got burned alive in an accidental warehouse fire with all the other members of the Wolf Note Collective back in ’18.

But this unholy ghost lives on in his music, available now on Microwave Eyes Tapes. And as an adept in astral projection, he has also been known to make “live” appearances from time to time, manifesting in various forms on various stages, so don’t believe for a second that he won’t do a show for you just ’cause he’s dead.

His seminal record It’s Him! is available on cassette now, one of only a handful of Wolf Note works rescued from the ashes of the conflagration that took the ne-er-do-well art groop’s lives.

I ask that you please check out Dim Jim’s music as soon as possible. For his Mama’s sake, pobrecita. She never expected to lose her only child* so soon. She was always telling him not to rock ‘n’ roll but he did anyway and now he’s dead. Puta madre.**
