    Daddy’s Beemer Announces Sophomore EP
    Published: January 26, 2018

Daddy’s Beemer has been dropping hints about a new EP for a while now, but as of this morning it’s become official. The sophomore EP from Clemson-based Daddy’s Beemer will be released on Friday, February 16th. Like their self-titled EP that was released this past May, Pucker will contain six tracks, except the songs on Pucker will have a more serious lean to them, without the sacrifice of their signature upbeat slacker rock energy.

The first taste of Pucker came in the form of the single, “Joan”, which was released in November. “Joan” showcased the evolution of the Daddy’s Beemer sound, and according to the band, the new EP will fall into place around that sound. This includes the accompaniment of woodblocks, bongos, and strings that serve to complement the driving guitars that fans of Daddy’s Beemer have grown to love.

Daddy’s Beemer is hosting a release party for Pucker at the Clemson Little Theater in Pendleton, South Carolina, on the night of the EP’s release. Joining Daddy’s Beemer that night will be fellow Pablo Generation band Tom Angst. Tickets are $10 and include a free copy of the new EP.

    Here’s the tracklisting:

    1. Time We Killed
    2. Joan
    3. Thespian
    4. Eventualities
    5. Magenta
    6. Terry’s Song (version available on Pablo Sample Volume 1)
