The Cultura Festival’s line up is absolutely STACKED this year. One of the many artists that I am excited to see hit the stage is BluFlame James hailing from Hartsville, SC. BluFlame James is growing to be a revered lyricist and has consistently delivered #GxldApproved quality vibes.
BluFlame James is smooth as butter and presents an auditory soundscape similar to greats like Kendrick Lamar, Westside Boogie, and Larry June. His blend of melodies, samples, and storytelling give strong WestCoast vibes with hints of that dark, rugged, East Coast flavors. A strong example of this is one of my favorite songs of his “1995”.
I’ve seen BluFlame James blaze quite a few stages since early 2022 and each time he performs, his one-of-a-kind style becomes more effortless. Though his name is a rising one, he constantly captivates listeners whether live or over wax and I can see him becoming a household name. His polished delivery, skill, and songwriting ability clash perfectly with his humble and strong presence to make him a force to be reckoned with in the evolving hip-hop scene in Charleston.
Tap in and get familiar with BluFlame James as we draw closer and closer to seeing him and many other stellar creatives at The Cultura Festival on May 6th at The Royal American. Get your tickets here.
