This thread is for collecting concert posters that are cool. The performers themselves need not be relevant to the discussion of the art in this context.

I will start with this recent poster for Doom Flamingo doing 3 nights in Charleston. Made by Aaron Utterback who is a buddy and who has made several posters for Extra Chill over the years.

I really like the design at the bottom with the disco ball grid things that seem to be bouncing or sinking into the grid on the bottom. It just looks cool but it’s also very simple. Good design.

Share other posters you dig here and I will continue to share them too.

Another one that I think is real easy on the eyes. Not just for the design itself but also for the lineup. I’m into a lot of this more folk-oriented stuff.

As for why I like this poster, it has to do with the color choices. The blues and purples complement each other really nicely, and the orange/yellow do the same. The contrast is clear but not overkill.

I also really enjoy the blue border with the black squiggly line. Simple, chill, and crispy. Good design in the eyes of a non-designer.

Another good one I found on Instagram. Unofficial poster design for the Neal Francis / Psycodelics show at the Music Hall in November. I just hired this kid to make our poster for June 9th at the Pour House after I saw this
