This morning, Charleston acoustic/reggae rock project Big Yen released their self-titled debut EP. The project is led by James Frolio, audio engineer and co-manager at Ohm Radio. James enlisted the help of John Shields from Little Stranger for help with producing the new EP, and the result is a laid-back, warm little album that can help get you ready for the summer, which is never far out of reach here in the Southeast.
Frolio will be at Elliotborough Mini Bar tonight to play some love songs and anti-love songs and celebrate or commiserate with you this Valentine’s Day. Tickets are $10, and the show starts at 8pm. More info in the Facebook event here.
