Beach Sex, Ropeswing Marathon, and Whitehall to Play at The Purple Buffalo This Friday, December 9th

This Friday night, Whitehall will return to The Purple Buffalo for their final show of 2016. They’re headlining this one, and word on the street is that they’re going to premiere an unreleased song at the show. I know finals are starting up this weekend for many of you, but take a break from studying and go catch some live music and drink some cheap beer. You deserve it. Whitehall always puts on a killer show, and The Purple Buffalo sells $1 PBR. Yes, you read that correctly. PBR is only a dollar at The Purple Buffalo. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Joining Whitehall will be Beach Sex and Ropeswing Marathon. Beach Sex is a brand new trio from Charleston, and this Friday will be one of their first ever shows. Also on the bill is Ropeswing Marathon from Columbia, SC. Ropeswing Marathon has a laid-back funky jazz sound that, similarly to Whitehall, makes you want to move your feet. I’ve got their single “Thank You” streaming via Bandcamp below, and below that you’ll find Whitehall’s debut EP Before We Walked via Spotify.

Show starts at 8pm, 21+. Whitehall hits it around 9pm. Cover is $5. See you there.
