Fronted by the amazingly energetic Amy Taylor, Amyl and the Sniffers are a punk rock band hailing out of Australia. Their live performance is flat out electrifying, and what I consider old school punk rebirthed in the modern age. This is a more subdued studio performance… posting this one as to make audio quality the priority, but for sure their festival performances are well worth checking out as well. There’s a plethora of stuff to be found on youtube, spotify, and anywhere you consume media.
Also of extra special interest are performances/recordings by other groups featuring Amy on vocals. The Sleaford Mods song “Nudge it” (A personal favorite of mine) and the Viagra Boy’s John Prine cover of ‘In spite of ourselves’. All highly recommended for your listenting pleasure!
