in reply to: High Water 2025High Water Festival is such trash compared to 90% of other music festivals.
They bank on the fact that Charleston has money and all of the yuppies will buy the tickets no matter what, because it’s the cool thing to do.
It was way better before the pandemic.
Now, without Shovels & Rope, and Live Nation fully in control, I expect it will continue to get worse.

in reply to: Bonnaroo 2025The tickets to Bonnaroo are ridiculously expensive, and they keep getting more expensive every year.
Having attended the festival 3 times, I can say that they are banking on their reputation. It truly is one of the happiest, most free places on earth for the five day duration.
The prices will continue to rise every year until they stop selling.
That being said, if you can swing it, I do highly recommend going to Bonnaroo at least once.
I’m planning to be there this year, hopefully with a...

in reply to: What Are You Listening To Right Now?A bit late to this one, but Cameron Winters “Heavy Metal” that came out on December 6th. I missed my chance to see Geese by like 10 minutes when I went to the King Gizzard show because I ended up being late but from what I know of that band, I really was suprised of the sound of this album. Its filled with experimental, emotional folk ballads, and has all of these blues and country undertones that are very captivating—especially “Drinking Age”. Definitely worth a listen.
