in reply to: Comedy Board? Thanks for the feedback and for being an early adopter! Good idea. I’ll add a comedy board to the Rabbit Hole today and make you a moderator of it. Let me know if any other ideas pop up, I’m trying to keep fine-tuning it before I plaster the link all over the main blog and really get this going

At 3:20 – Jerry’s response to the heckling always cracks me up
Do you mean when he says he can’t hear his guitar? I think he’s talking to the sound guy about the monitor on the stage
in reply to: Whose going to Ween at Firefly?Definitely. Pretty cool to see that tour is making a stop in Charleston
in reply to: What Are You Listening To Right Now?In honor of the first SUSTO album turning 10 years old this week, this is one of my favorite SUSTO videos. “Smoking Outside” was the first song of theirs I heard and I’ve been a big fan ever since.
I especially like it because my friends Corey and Jenna from Babe Club were in the band at the time and look how young they are. We’re the same age, so this is also a reminder of how fast time really goes.
SUSTO has been a pivotal band in the history of Extra Chill and it all started when “Smoking Outside” came on my Spotify Discover weekly one day not long before the Summer Shindig took place in the Royal American parking lot, summer 2016.

in reply to: What Are You Listening To Right Now?I saw Kanika Moore sing this at Charleston Pour House with Noah Jones, Jeff Caldwell, Ben Mossman, and Oleg Terentiev. Absolutely sick. Opening for Runaway Gin’s 10th Anniversary weekend. This song is awesome
in reply to: What Are You Listening To Right Now?Band of Horses live cover of J.J. Cale’s “Thirteen Days.” From their recent live album, Live Acoustic at the Ryman, Volume 2. Recorded in 2013. The whole thing is worth checking out but this cover is my favorite.
in reply to: What Are You Listening To Right Now?Best country love song of all time? I wrote an essay about it a few months back on the main blog. Noah Kahan sings this one too but Isbell is the one who wrote it, and to have written a song like this places you pretty high in my personal rankings of songwriters.
in reply to: Sierra Ferrell FansI love Sierra Ferrell. This is a cover of country legend John Anderson’s 2020 song “Years.” It’s better than the original in my opinion. What a well-written song about the universal experience of getting older.
